Who is
Lisa A. Swingle?
I am currently in my 24th year of teaching. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2000 with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Starting my career in Flagler County, I have also taught multiple grades in Washington County, Marion County, Sumter County and recently Volusia County. Up until 2022, I have been in the public school system. My current teaching position is at Daytona Beach Christian Academy, where I teach all subjects to 8th graders!
Who is
Mike Swingle?
AKA...Pastor Mike
Mike is currently serving as the Pastor at First Baptist Harbor Oaks in Port Orange, FL. He has been serving as the lead pastor there since 2017. He graduated with his Bachelor’s in Theology in 2006 and has also worked as a Pastor and other various positions before and after graduating. Among his church ministry he has also worked as an autism paraprofessional, an after-school program coordinator, a full-time sub in middle and high school as well as a full time teacher in a high school modified classroom for three years.
Cost Overview
Tutoring for the Summer is $40.00 an hour for elementary and middle school subjects. For Algebra I or higher grade subjects the cost per hour is $50.00. Students can be tutored up to 1 - 3x a week if needed.
